This is a test/review video of Praktica DVC 10.1 HDMI camcorder, from a German brand Praktica. The camcorder however is based on a Chinese chipset. This is a small camera with a good picture in daylight, however it has no manual controls and performs poorly in a low light situation. The video attempts to show the camcorder from a good side in the first place. The location is Schönbrunn Palace gardens and Glorietta cafe in Vienna. Praktica DVC 10.1 may be recommended as a first camcorder, or as a present to a friend (who is not a video professional). The value is good for the price (€185 on Amazon.de). Review notes are superimposed on video as titles. People, who expect manual settings or a better picture quality, should look towards Sony or Canon camcorders with the price range of €700 and up, with Sony being my favourite due to its excellent colour reproduction and advanced image stabilization.
